Cowardly Lion is a fictional character most famously known from "The Wizard of Oz". He first appeared in the 1900 novel, but became a screen icon with the release of the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz".
In the film, Cowardly Lion joins Dorothy, Scarecrow, and Tin Man on their journey to see the Wizard, seeking courage. Despite his fears and initial reluctance, he repeatedly demonstrates bravery throughout their adventures, ultimately proving that he is not as cowardly as he believes.
